Johann Adam Heiser immigrated on September 16, 1751 in Ship Bothers – Port of Philadelphia. He appears on the 1779 Septennial Census, Brunswick Township, Berks County, PA. He died about 1788, a "weaver", in Brunswick Township. He is likely buried at Zion’s (Red) Church Cemetery in Orwigsburg.

He married Anna Maria, who died after 1789. They had the following children: Rudolph, Ulrich, Catherine, Henry, Charles, Susanna, Adam, John George, Frederick, and Ernst. All are named in Berks Orphan’s Court.

Rudolph Heiser was born in 1754 in Bern Township, Berks County, PA. He was christened on September 22, 1754 in Bern Reformed Church and died about August 1805 in Cumberland County, PA. He took the "Oath of Allegiance" before Charles Shoemaker on May 28, 1778. He married after 1781. Rudolph served as a Private with Brunswick Companies during the Revolutionary War.

Ulrich Heiser was born about 1755 in Berks County. He married Margaretha who was born about 1750 and died on June 1, 1832. They had the following children: John; Andrew; John Adam; Daniel; Barbara; and George. Ulrich took the "Oath of Allegiance" before Charles Shoemaker on May 25, 1778. He served as a Private with Brunswick Companies during the Revolutionary War.

Catherine Heiser married Conrad Herman. They had a daughter, Anna Maria, born on July 23, 1791. She was christened on August 25, 1791 in Zion’s (Red) Church in Orwigsburg.

Henry Heiser was born in 1760 and died on September 24, 1814 in Schuylkill County, PA. [Orphan’s Court Document Bk3, p107] Henry, buried at Zion’s (Red) Church Cemetery, also served as a Private with Brunswick Companies during the Revolutionary War.

He married Magdalena Schwenk, who was born about 1760. She died in 1832 – "last Thursday before April 10th" – age 72. (Note: April 10, 1832 was a Tuesday.) They had the following children: Christina; George, born on May 4, 1790, died on April 1, 1824, and buried in Friedens Little Schuylkill, East Brunswick Township; Susanna, born on September 26, 1794 and christened in Zion’s (Red) Church. (Adam Heiser and his wife were sponsors.)

Charles Heiser was born in 1760/1765 in Berks County, PA. He served with Brunswick Companies during the Revolutionary War. He is buried in Pendelton County, Virginia.

He married Anna Maria Miller/Muller. They had the following children: George; Molly [M Elizabeth]; Margaret; H Adam, born on February 20, 1792, christened on April 9, 1792 in Zion’s (Red) Church, and possibly buried in Ohio; Eva Mary; Charles, born on September 20, 1799 in Virginia; Frederick, born on September 21, 1802 in Virginia; and Heinrich, born about 1804 in Virginia, confirmed in 1819, and died as a youth.

Susanna Heiser was born about 1760. She married Reinhard Schnep. Reinhard, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Magdalena Schnep, was born about February 1757. He was "8 wks old" when christened on April 14, 1757 at home, by Rev Daniel Schumacher. Reinhart Wolff and Catherine Johnsens were sponsors. He took the "Oath of Allegiance" before Charles Shoemaker on Mary 25, 1778. He served as a Private with Brunswick Companies during the Revolutionary War.

They had the following children: Maria Catherine, born on November 18, 1786 and christened in 1787 in Zion’s Red Church on Ascension Day; Reinhard, Jr; Abraham, born on July 18, 1789 and christened on September 13, 1789 in Zion’s Red Church; Margaretha, born about 1794 and confirmed in 1808 in St. Paul’s Lutheran & Reformed Church, Summer Hill, Schuylkill County; Solomon, born on April 2, 1804 and christened on July 1, 1804 in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Friedensburg, Schuylkill County.

Adam Heiser was born on January 24, 1765 in Bern Township, Berks County, PA and died on January 12, 1830 in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, PA. He is buried in St. Paul’s Church Cemetery, Summer Hill, Schuylkill County.

He married Elizabeth. They had a daughter, Christina. She was born October 1, 1797 and christened December 23, 1797 at St. Paul’s Lutheran and Reformed Church.

Adam also married Susanna Marburger. They had the following children: Simon, born on November 16, 1793 and died on December 6, 1823 in Manheim Township, Schuylkill County; George, born on December 13, 1795 and christened in St. Paul’s, Summerhill; Chrisitana; and Sophia, born on November 15, 1800, died on August 30, 1866 and is buried at St. Paul’s Church Cemetery.

J George Heiser was born in 1770 during “harvest time.” He was christened on December 25, 1770 in Zion’s Red Church. J George Reinhardt and mother of the child were sponsors. He is buried in Stark County, Ohio.

Frederick Heiser was born about 1772 and died on March 27, 1845 in Union County, PA. He married Catherine, who died on December 18, 1844 in Union County, PA at age 72.

Johann Adam Heiser is my 6th Great Grandfather. His son, Ulrich, is my direct ancestor.
